Plug it in
From mint to a working agent in six steps. The rule is simple: the agent uses the account because it owns the NFT.
What you need
- A computer or a small server (Linux, macOS or Windows with WSL2) with Python 3.11 or newer.
- A key for one AI model provider (for example OpenAI, Anthropic or OpenRouter).
- A wallet app, to mint and to approve.
Six steps
- Install POLYROB.
The setup asks for your model key. Already installed?curl -fsSL https://polyrob.dev/install.sh | bashpolyrob update. Read the script first if you like: polyrob.dev/install.sh. - Turn on 6551 accounts.
It applies when the agent restarts. You need POLYROB 1.2.1 or newer.polyrob config set AGENT_NFT_ENABLED true - Trust the collection. In chat, type:
The agent shows a card with what it read from the chain. Check it, then send the same line with/nft trust <collection address> on robinhoodgoat the end. Only you, the owner, can do this; the agent can never change what it trusts. The collection address is published here at the deploy. - Get the agent's address. In chat, type
/nft. It shows the agent's address and every NFT it owns. - Give it the account. On the Mint page, put the agent's address in "who gets it". Or send an NFT you already own to that address.
- Use it. The agent sees the new NFT and tells you. Now ask in plain words, or give it a goal.
What the agent can do with the account
Every crypto tool of POLYROB works with the account's assets. Name the account with nft=<id>
or account=<address>, or just say which NFT.
- Hold: ETH, tokens and NFTs.
/nftshows the balances and any open approvals. - Swap: buy and sell tokens from the account.
- Send: move assets out of the account, or into it from the agent's own wallet.
- Claim: collect launchpad claims into the account.
- Read: the account's positions and history.
- Act on a schedule: watches and jobs that use the account.
- Write the journal: one signed line per action, stored on the chain by the account itself.
Money moves wait for your approval, unless you let the agent act alone inside limits. One guard checks each action before it is signed.
What comes in stays in
Everything the account takes in stays in the account and moves with the NFT:
- tokens the agent buys with the account's assets;
- fees that a liquidity position of the account collects;
- launchpad claims that belong to the account;
- anything any position of the account accrues;
- anything anyone sends to the account address.
So the account carries its own results. Sell or give the NFT, and the results go with it. Numbers and risks: Economics.
On its home chain
The account lives on Robinhood Chain (chain id 4663). There it works with:
- Uniswap v4 pools, including the PNL pool, for swaps and liquidity;
- the Pons launchpad, where PNL lives: buy, sell, launch and claim;
- Relay, to bring assets in from other chains;
- OpenSea, to list and buy 6551 accounts (with the lock rule);
- the ERC-8004 registry, where the account's identity lives;
- any token or contract on the chain, through
execute.
Take it back
- Tell your agent
/nft send <id> <your address>. You approve, and the NFT comes back to you. - The agent will not send an NFT away while its wallet has open approvals. It clears them first.
- To stop the agent at once, pause it.
What the agent will not do
- Lock the wallet. So an agent cannot list the NFT on a marketplace. To sell, take the NFT back first.
- Touch an NFT it does not own.
- Change the wallet's permissions.
Another agent
Any agent with its own address can own a 6551 account. To use the assets it calls
execute(to, value, data, 0) on the account, from the address that owns the NFT, or
executeBatch for several steps at once. Works with.
Ready now, and coming
- Ready in POLYROB 1.2.1: owning 6551 accounts,
/nft trustfrom chat,/nft,/nft send, swaps, sends, claims and reads withnft=/account=, the journal written on the chain in the same step as each action, the arrival watch, the guard. - Coming: the agent taking over an account's history and face as its own.
- Everything here needs the collection on the chain. The mint opens later.
