Mint rules
All the rules of the mint on one page: who can mint, when, at what price, and what happens after.
Every rule here is a constant of the sale contract. Nobody can change it after the deploy. The only thing the owner sets is the allowlist, once, before the mint opens.
The date is announced later. Every time on this page counts from the moment the owner
opens the mint, not from a date. For mint news, join t.me/thepublicden.
At a glance
| Supply | 6,551 NFTs. At most 131 of them are held for the team, so the public can mint 6,420. |
| Chain | Robinhood Chain (4663). You pay in ETH there, or from another chain through Relay. Relay takes its own fee. |
| Base price | 0.033 ETH per NFT. |
| 1 · Allowlist | the first 24 hours. A wallet on the list mints its places (2 to 10) at 0.033 ETH each. |
| 2 · Public sale | then a falling price: 0.099 ETH, one step of 0.0033 ETH lower every 10 minutes, 20 steps, to 0.033 ETH after 3 hours 20 minutes. |
| Final price | one price for every public buyer: the price when the last public NFT goes, or 0.033 ETH if the price gets there first. |
| Settlement | what a public buyer paid above the final price comes back. 33% of the final price above 0.033 ETH goes into each NFT's account. |
| 3 · After the sale | anyone mints what is left at 0.033 ETH. The team mints at most 131 at the final price. |
| Limits | 1 to 10 NFTs per transaction. No limit per wallet in the public sale. |
The timeline
| Time | What happens |
| Open | the owner opens the mint. The allowlist phase starts. Only wallets with a place can mint. |
| +24 h | the allowlist phase ends. The public sale starts at 0.099 ETH. Anyone can mint, also a wallet on the list. |
| +24 h to +27 h 20 min | the price falls one step every 10 minutes (the steps). |
| The end of the sale | when the last public NFT goes, or at +27 h 20 min when the price is 0.033 ETH, whichever comes first. |
| After the end | the settlement can run. Anyone mints what is left at 0.033 ETH. The team can mint. |
If allowlist mints take all 6,420 public NFTs, the sale ends in the allowlist phase. There is then no public sale, and the final price is 0.033 ETH.
The allowlist: how to get a place
You join on the Mint page with your X account. The X login only reads: it cannot post, follow or repost. You do each task on X yourself. The page finds your card post, and at the close we check every follow and repost on X.
| Task | Points |
| Required | an X account at least 30 days old at the close, the allowlist card posted on X, a follow of @tmachinrobot, and one linked wallet. This gives 1 point. Without all four, there is no place. |
| Follow @vonpsyche | +1 |
| Each repost the allowlist asks for | +1 each |
| An older X account | +1 for an X account at least 1 year old at the close, with at least 100 followers at your last X login on the Mint page |
| Hold PNL | +1 for at least 1,000,000 PNL in the linked wallet at the snapshot block. PNL is a token on Robinhood Chain:
contract 0xbBa6…2c7e ↗ ·
DexScreener ↗.
The Mint page shows how much PNL your linked wallet holds now. |
| Points | Places |
| 1 | 2 |
| 2 | 4 |
| 3 | 6 |
| 4 | 8 |
| 5 or more | 10 |
| The close | the list closes before the mint opens. We announce the close on X and in the community. |
| The check at the close | at the close we read X again. A post you deleted, or a follow or repost you undid, does not count.
Without the card post or the @tmachinrobot follow, there is no place. |
| The snapshot block | one block of Robinhood Chain in the 48 hours after the close. We choose it then, and publish its number and hash with the list.
Anyone can rebuild the PNL balances from the chain at that block. |
| One wallet, one entry | a wallet linked to two X accounts counts once, with the higher points. |
| The list | no size limit. We publish it before the mint opens: each wallet with its places and points, the Merkle root and the snapshot block. No X handle is in it.
The owner writes the root into the sale contract before the mint opens. After the open, nobody can change it. |
| X | the X points rest on what X answers to our calls at the join and at the close. |
| Who can join | not persons in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Switzerland or sanctioned places (Disclaimer, section 5). |
The allowlist phase: how to use a place
| When | only in the first 24 hours after the open. After that, a place you did not use is gone. That NFT goes to the public sale, and your wallet can still mint there. |
| Price | exactly 0.033 ETH per NFT. No settlement follows. |
| Where the NFT goes | the place belongs to the listed wallet. The NFT must go to that wallet. Anyone can pay for it, also through Relay. |
| How many | up to your places, in one transaction or in several. |
| Not reserved | a place is not a promise of a mint. Allowlist mints and public mints come from the same 6,420 NFTs.
If the places at the close are more than 6,420, the allowlist phase is first come, first served. We can then lower the places
of each wallet before the mint opens. Nobody leaves the list. |
The public sale
| Start | exactly 24 hours after the open, at 0.099 ETH (three times the base price). |
| Steps | every 10 minutes the price falls by 0.0033 ETH (10% of the base price). After 20 steps, 3 hours 20 minutes, it is 0.033 ETH and stops. |
| What you pay | at least the price of the moment for each NFT, and at most 0.099 ETH. The Mint page sends one step more than the price it shows.
Every amount above the final price comes back at the settlement. |
| Wait or mint | you can mint at any step. If you wait, the price is lower, but the NFTs can run out. |
| All or nothing | if fewer NFTs are left than you ask for, the mint fails. You get none, and you pay only the network fee. |
| Your NFT | it is yours at once. Its face is drawn a few blocks later (How is the face made?). |
| Time after the start | Price per NFT |
| 0:00 | 0.0990 ETH |
| 0:10 | 0.0957 ETH |
| 0:20 | 0.0924 ETH |
| 0:30 | 0.0891 ETH |
| 0:40 | 0.0858 ETH |
| 0:50 | 0.0825 ETH |
| 1:00 | 0.0792 ETH |
| 1:10 | 0.0759 ETH |
| 1:20 | 0.0726 ETH |
| 1:30 | 0.0693 ETH |
| 1:40 | 0.0660 ETH |
| 1:50 | 0.0627 ETH |
| 2:00 | 0.0594 ETH |
| 2:10 | 0.0561 ETH |
| 2:20 | 0.0528 ETH |
| 2:30 | 0.0495 ETH |
| 2:40 | 0.0462 ETH |
| 2:50 | 0.0429 ETH |
| 3:00 | 0.0396 ETH |
| 3:10 | 0.0363 ETH |
| 3:20 and after | 0.0330 ETH |
The final price
| Sold out | the price of the moment when the last public NFT goes is the final price. |
| Not sold out | if the price gets to 0.033 ETH first, the final price is 0.033 ETH. |
| One price | every public buyer pays the final price in the end, at any step they minted. |
| A lower cap | the owner can lower the supply. If a lower cap leaves no public NFT, the sale ends at that moment, at the price of that moment.
Nobody pays more than they paid, but the price stops falling there. |
Example: you mint 2 NFTs at the step of 0.066 ETH and pay 0.132 ETH. The last public NFT goes at 0.0495 ETH.
At the settlement 0.033 ETH comes back to you (2 × 0.0165), and each of your two accounts gets 0.005445 ETH (33% of 0.0165).
The settlement
| When | after the end of the sale, when the final price is known. |
| Who | anyone, for any purchase. On the Mint page the button is under "Your sale mints". The project plans to settle every purchase too. |
| Back to you | per NFT, what you paid minus the final price. It goes to the address that got the NFT, on Robinhood Chain. It does not go to the payer, and not to another chain. |
| Into the account | per NFT, 33% of the final price above 0.033 ETH, as ETH. |
| To the project | the other 67% of the final price above 0.033 ETH goes to the project Safe. |
| A refused payment | if the address does not take ETH (some contracts), the amount waits in the sale contract. Anyone can then claim it for that address. The few wei left from a division wait there the same way. |
| No deadline | an amount not settled stays in the sale contract until someone settles it. The owner cannot take it. |
After the sale
| Open mint | while NFTs are left, anyone mints them at exactly 0.033 ETH. No settlement follows. |
| Team | at most 131 NFTs, only after the end of the sale, at the final price, to the project Safe. Their accounts get the same as public NFTs.
The public can never mint these 131. If the team does not mint all of them, the rest stay unminted. |
| The end of the mint | when all NFTs are minted, or when the owner lowers the cap to the number minted. Then the mint is closed for good. |
What each NFT gets
| Pool position | 0.01089 ETH, into the NFT's account as a position in the PNL pool. The same for every NFT. |
| Gas | 0.0005 ETH, into the NFT's account as ETH. The same for every NFT. |
| At the settlement | public and team NFTs: 33% of (final price − 0.033 ETH), into the NFT's account as ETH. Allowlist NFTs: none. |
| The project | 0.02161 ETH per NFT, plus 67% of (final price − 0.033 ETH) for a public or team NFT, to the project Safe. |
So each account gets 33% of what its NFT paid in the end, plus 0.0005 ETH for gas. With a final price of 0.066 ETH, a public account
gets 0.02228 ETH in total and an allowlist account 0.01139 ETH. How the pool position works: Economics, "The pool position".
Why a mint can fail
A mint that fails takes nothing. You pay only the network fee.
- The mint is not open yet.
- It is the allowlist phase, and the address that gets the NFT has no place left.
- In the allowlist phase or after the sale, the amount is not exactly 0.033 ETH per NFT.
- In the public sale, the amount is less than the price of the moment, or more than 0.099 ETH per NFT.
- Fewer NFTs are left than you ask for, or the number is not 1 to 10.
- The pool gives less PNL than your setting allows (Economics, "The pool position").
- The gas limit is too low.
Who may mint
Not persons in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada or Switzerland, in a sanctioned country or region, or on a sanctions list.
Do not use a VPN to get around this. The full text is in the Disclaimer, section 5.
A POLYROB is an experiment, not an investment. Mint only with what you can lose in full.
What nobody can change
- The prices, the steps, the 24 hours, the 131 team places and the split are constants of the code.
- The sale has no pause, no price setter and no close. The owner cannot take a buyer's payment.
- The owner can only: set the allowlist before the open, open the mint once, lower the supply cap, and mint the team NFTs.
All owner powers: Economics.
Check it yourself
The sale contract answers on the chain: phase() (0 not open, 1 allowlist, 2 public sale, 3 ended),
priceNow(), nextStepAt(), clearing() (the final price), publicCapacity()
(public NFTs left) and settled(). The Mint page shows the same readings. The contract addresses are published at the deploy.
