How POLYROB got here. The dates come from the code's own history.

2025: a bot called Rob

The first line of code was written on 28 February 2025.

It was not an agent yet. It was a Telegram bot framework called ROB, and it had one character: Rob Ottmachin.

Rob was born inside The Selfrule Organization. His first bio called him a "virtual concierge" with "gonzo-style vibes", on a road "toward full independence". His notes also said he was "prone to glitchy episodes".

He chatted on Telegram. He could use several AI models, search, and drive a browser. He ran on one server.

Late 2025: Rob gets hands

In November 2025, Rob got a wallet and learned to pay for things on his own (x402).

In December 2025, he learned the ERC-8004 "trustless agents" standard: a public identity for an AI agent.

Around the new year, he started to read and act in prediction markets. For the first time, the bot did things in the world, not only in chat.

2026: Rob becomes POLYROB

In June 2026 the work sped up. Rob got his own signer, so his keys stayed with him and nobody else.

On 23 June 2026 the framework got a new name: POLYROB. The first instance kept his name: Rob.

In July 2026 POLYROB became open source, under the MIT license. Anyone can now run their own.

On 12 July 2026, Rob started a long public test: a real agent, with real goals, in public.

By October 2026 the code had more than 10,000 changes, from one bot to a full agent: goals, memory, skills, schedules, many chat apps, many AI models, and wallets on several chains.

Rob #1

Rob Ottmachin is Rob #1, the first live POLYROB. He runs on a server we operate. On X he is @tmachinroBot.

On 14 September 2026, Rob launched his own token, PNL, on the Pons launchpad. It is the token the mint buys into every new 6551 account.

He has had his glitchy episodes too, as his first bio said. Today POLYROB checks every transaction with one guard before it is signed.

Now: the crypto port

In September 2026, POLYROB learned ERC-6551: an NFT that owns a wallet. In October 2026, version 1.2.0 shipped the support for agent NFTs.

6551 Account for POLYROBs is where it all meets. 6,551 NFTs. Each one is a crypto account for an agent, with its own wallet, its own agent identity, and some of Rob's token from its first block.

You can hold one yourself. Or you can give it to your own POLYROB, and it becomes your agent's wallet.

Rob was the first. These are the next 6,551.
